My Mermaid Tail

Does this count as art? I guess it does. I know I put a lot of work into it. This is a swimmable mermaid tail I made over the summer. I learned to sew in order to make it. Each scale was individually hand-painted; the fluke was made with spray fabric paint with yarn on one side and wire on the other (if you do this use wire, not yarn! Yarn moves too much.) to simulate the little bones fish have in their tails.
